More Of Rob's Lightsabery Wizardry
We managed to get down to Marlogue Wood again today, intended as one last day before Kev and Mike have to go back to school. We did get some stuff done - Rob and Kev managed to piece together their earlier fight, and add new moves, and I did some tests with Mike on the beach, the reason for which I can't really tell you, for it has to do with the story. But anyway, it's all looking good. Unfortunately, by the time it came for my turn with Kevin, he was too wrecked to do anything but a few duels. Ah well... we tend to work best on working out new moves when we're on our own in the back yard.
Down below are a mixture of shots - all are from today, but some of them have been touched up by Rob before I could get to Blogger's Dashboard to add this post. Now, if Rob will only settle on that one shade of blue I want...

Kev and Rob practise. Touched up shot, obviously >_>

Shot of Rob on his own.

Another touched up shot of Kev and I as we practise.

Another one from today.

Kev and Rob "take a break"...

One of the few untouched photo's, Kev and I practise. At this point, Kevin was wrecked. Next time, I'll be sure to have our duel first ^_~

Bitchin! Nice touch ups! Do you guys really live in Ireland?
HEY!!! You guys look so great!!! ~becca
Thank you Becca and Shandiana ^_^
That's a very helpful comment, I'm not thinking.
Is it littery there? Honestly, what's it like? I mean just everything, schools and daily stuff? Sorry to sound nerdy, I get these questions in Alaska a lot too, but that's just so interesting!
No, Ireland is generally very clean, aside from one or two spots... and our town of Cobh just happens to be one. Marlogue Wood is always very clean but that time we were down, some idiots dumped a huge load of beer cans all over the place. It's been cleaned up now but at the time we were practising, it was all around.
And uh, you'll have to be more specific regarding your other questions, but I don't think we're too different from the rest of the Western World.
Well really, what is the "western world?" Cuz everything is west of something. I know you mean Europe...but....it's an odd phrase. I mean, just like what are the towns like? I mean, just in general in refrence to other places like America...
Having never been to America, I couldn't possibly tell you O_O
However, Rob has, so he might be able to tell you.
So what are the little differences?" like do you guys get American movies later or sooner, or just like ....I dunno....something....I have trouble forming questions when I"ve never been there...
Ouch. So what is there to do for fun up there?
Well, that depends entirely on your tastes. But the four of us like to go gaming in Area 51, the cinema, playing pool or bowling.
We usually end up gaming. Typically we spend five to six hours in there, playing Battlefield 2, Rome - Total War, and Counter Strike Source.
Area 51? As in where the FBI deny containing UFO's? Is that like an arcade?
HUH? like a coffee shop with computers?
...I think I'll actually answer the question. Thanks, Jereth :P
It's an Internet/Internet gaming business. Yes, you can buy coffee, order in pizza, and they have sandwiches, drinks and all kinds of candy in the fridge. There's no real place to eat them but for your computer station... there is a small "hang out" area, which is basically a triangular couch with a table in the middle, but you can rarely get near to it to actually use it for food.
The most food we get in there would be a sandwich or a chocolate bar - we usually eat elsewhere. Kinda hard to juggle a pizza and fend off your opponent's army ;)
Fun! what kind of computer games are you guys into?
Battlefield 2, Rome - Total War, Counter Strike Source, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, UT2K4. Battlefield 2 is the favourite at the moment. I'll log into World of Warcraft if I'm bored and not playing with the others.
We have our own pc's at home, though, and so we have access to a large amount of games. But the Area 51 pc's are Alienware brand, and more powerful than ours, and a broadband connection to the 'net while all of us are still struggling along with 56k, so that's why we go up, even if we have nearly all of the games they offer at home.
Nice...I've only heard of a few of those...have any of you ever playing Indiana Jones? Or Monkey Island? Or Age of Empires? I have more, but for the moment they are escaping me.
We only play multiplayer games up at Area 51, and as they tend to have only the newest games available to appeal to their biggest consumers (teenagers).
Yes, we are big fans of the Monkey Island and Age Of Empires series... many's the hour we wasted in front of our pc's beating the metaphorical crap out of each other in Age of Kings.
wow, i haven't heard from you boys in forever. What is happening?
What Rob said... and Kev and Mike have school. Kevin also has band practise nearly every Saturday which as you can imagine nearly always gets in the way.
what instrument do you play?
Kevin plays bass guitar, and is in a local metal band. Rob has a guitar that doesn't quite work properly.
Fun....sucks about the guitar though...
Hi Brian
More Of Rob's Lightsabery Wizardry came up when I searched for affilitiate program so here I am. I came across a website http://shoppercompanies.com/ and was wondering if you had seen it before. It looks like a good deal but there are too many scam artists out there so I now tend to check out a site before joining. Anyone checked it out? Any comments would be appreciated.
